So that you fell relaxed and at home in Vienna, we take great care in choosing our student residences and host families. On demand we will also book you a hotel room.
Host families:
This is by far the most preferred choice since it offers the student the possibility
to interact with native German speakers and gain insight into their daily
life. The Austrians are well-known for their hospitality. The families are
personally visited by the Institute's management so as to carefully determine
and select who is best prepared and suited to host foreign students. In most
cases, you will be given a single room and will be hosted on a half board
basis with dinner serving as a good opportunity for discussion. Since bathroom
facilities are mostly shared it is advisable to respect each others habits.
For a small amount extra you can choose between breakfast or half board. The
maximum distance to the school with public transportation would be 45 minutes.
Please be advised that we only have a restricted number of host families.
Student Residence:
The standard room is a double bedroom with shared facilities. There is also
the possibility to have your own single room with your own bathroom for a
small amount extra. It is a great opportunity to make many international friends
in such a residence. Some of the student residences have a kitchen where you
can use all the facilities for free.
Your own appartment in Vienna:
For an extra of € 200,- /month (€ 750,-/month with course) we will
offer you your own appartment. Our appartments are located close to public
transportations and are ideal if you are the independent one. Please book
in advance as the number of places are restricted.
